We were given a loan approval for $250K with Wells Fargo- not nearly enough for the asking price, even with our down payment. This was after waiting almost 3 weeks. Then came Chase, where it seemed like we were a hair strand away from the house of our dreams. What seemed like “FOREVER” turned out to be the most heart-breaking month of waiting we’ve ever experienced. On the day we were supposed to find out if the loan was approved, the UW says they have to decline the loan because the house was just recently sold and their FHA rules doesn’t allow them to fund a home like that. WOW! I remember talking to Keith the very first time in June about funding this home… For some reason i didn’t follow through and got carried by the waves of the big banks. We have been so emotionally messed up that we still couldn’t believe we got the house, we couldn’t even start to celebrate… Maybe when we hold the keys today or tomorrow, it’ll all change. I guess there’s a story behind every loan you guys approve/fund… This is Ours. We Appreciate All of You. The promptness, dedication, sympathy… And the awesome speed at which you guys picked up our case and straightened it out. Thank You All So Much. I cannot even Thank You enough.
